About MCCMS

M2M Cross Culture Mission Seminary (MCCMS)

M2M Cross Culture Mission Seminary (MCCMS) was established in 2018. It is an approved theological seminary by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) in California. Rev. John Chiang has been serving in the 10/40 window region, ministering to the unreached people groups. Rev. John saw the urgent need to pass down the great commission as the workers were few. Through years of prayer, support from brothers and sisters, and encouragement from pastors, the M2M Cross Culture Mission Seminary was finally established. We aim to collaborate with Asian churches and develop cross-cultural missionaries to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

Our Strategy

We adopt mainly M2M evangelical strategy, which is Minority to Minority or Muslim to Muslim. M2M is a similar culture evangelical strategy to make people the missionaries of their own people groups, or cross-tribes, or even cross-countries.
Through Rev. John Chiang’s long-time first-line missionary experiences, MCCMS can help those who want to dedicate their lives in evangelical ministries, with clear direction and practical strategy, to cross over the limitation of culture boundaries and preach the salvation of Jesus Christ.

Our Goal

Our goal is to train 300 cross-cultural missionaries for the global Chinese community, drawing inspiration from the 300 warriors of Gideon. These individuals will become the “mission elite” in the history of cross-cultural missions among the unreached peoples of the global Chinese community. MCCMS seeks to establish partnerships with Chinese churches worldwide, working together as mission partners to fulfill the great commission entrusted to us by the Lord. Furthermore, MCCMS aims to provide a platform for training cross-cultural missionaries for Chinese churches and organizations on a global scale. We also envision MCCMS as a platform that brings blessings to multiple churches and functions as an academy for the cultivation and inheritance of cross-cultural missionaries.

Our Partnership

I. Relationship to MFCI

Passing on the torch of missions among ethnic minorities.
Cultivating cross-ethnic and cross-cultural missionaries.
Serve a platform for churches to jointly commission the students to the mission field.
Serving as faculty members or teachers within the school.

II. Relationship with other mission agencies

Being companions and mutually supporting each other in the Great Commission.
Updated information on mission fields and praying for one another.
Cultivating workers for the mission to carry on the calling

III. Relationship to other Seminaries

Collaborating as partners in mission education and theological training.
Providing a platform for cross-cultural mission students to further their studies.
Helping students understand the needs of global missions.
Integrating theory and practice in frontline missions.
Facilitating academic and practical exchange between faculty of different seminaries.

IV. Relationship to alumni

Our institute serves as a prayer and support group for alumni.
Caring for the mission fields where alumni are serving.
Assisting in promoting cross-cultural mission training and equipping.
Guiding alumni in further educational opportunities.

V. Relationship to other churches

Assisting in identifying feasible mission strategies and action items.
Assisting churches in training disciples with the vision of the Kingdom.
Assisting churches in cultivating coworkers with passion for missions.
Assisting churches in developing local cross-cultural mission learning.
Assisting churches in understanding the various modes of missions.
Assisting churches in promoting cross-cultural mission outreach.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and without error in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.(II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21)

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Exodus 20:2-3; I Corinthians 8:6; II Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 4:11)

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:35; John 1:14)

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; that all human beings are born in sin and that this sinful nature is the origin of all sinful acts in thoughts, words, and deeds. (Genesis 1,2,3:1-6,3: 24; Romans 1:18,1:32,5:12-19)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for all sinners, according to the Scripture, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed Blood. (John 3:6; Acts 13:39,15:11; John 16:30-33; Romans 3:24, 5:1,5:9,8:1)

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His presence there for us, as High Priest and Advocate.(Matthew 28:6-7; Acts 1:9-11; I John 2:1; Hebrews 5:9-10, 8:6)

We believe in the personal return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.(John 14:3; Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:16)

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become children of God. (John 3:3-8; II Corinthians 5:17; I John 5:1)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, and the everlasting punishment of the non-believers.(I Corinthians 15; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15)

We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, that he is the enemy of God and man, the cause of sin and death. He was defeated by Christ’s death and resurrection, and will be cast into the lake of fire.(Matthew 4:1-3; II Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:10)

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly living and service. (John 16:13-15)
